Coaching Experience Begins
The coaching experience begins the moment you make a commitment to your first session. It is normal to feel curious, excited, uncertain and perhaps tentative prior to the first session. Based on studies done by the International Coaching Federations coaching clients have seen an improvement in their work performance, business management, time management, team effectiveness, self-confidence, communication skills, relationships, and Life/work balance
Coaching is a process of developing someone to their fullest potential. As a coach I guide, provide feedback and question you to success.
Generally coaching takes place in three parts:
- The preparation you do for the meeting (phone call),
- The meeting itself, and
- The action you take afterwards (decided by you at the end of each session).
I coach using the following guidelines and expectations:
- The focus is on YOU — YOU decide what we work on, YOU set the agenda and YOU receive the results.
- I assist you in closing the gap between your current reality and your preferred, future reality.
- I listen and ask questions – a lot.
- I ask you to do more than you would on your own. You are free to say yes, no, or make a counter offer. Whatever you decide will be alright with me. Once you make a promise, I expect you to keep it.
- I speak the truth based on what I hear and observe.
- I help you to focus on what is EXCELLENT about you.
- I belong to and embrace the guidelines and ethics outlined by the International Coaching Federation
- I trust God is guiding and directing us.
