Coach one or two times a month for 30 or 45 minutes with emails in-between as needed to help you set and achieve the goals you feel God is calling you to. Deb has been coaching since 2009, is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and is a coach for Coaching4Clergy and the Center for Progressive Renewal.
Group/Team Coaching
Deb works with church consistories, councils, committees, task forces, and ministries as well as non-profit boards to help set and achieve the goals of the group. The number of Coaching Sessions and the method of how they are delivered are based on the tasks agreed to. When working with churches and non-profits some one-on-one coaching is usually needed with the Pastor, Team/Ministry Leader or CEO.
Coach Training
Whether it is learning the basics of coaching to use in your life, work or ministry settings or to begin to take the steps of becoming a certified coach, Deb is a certified Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and is qualified to teach the basic coaching skills as a class for your organization or you can sign up to take a coaching class from Deb or through Coaching4Clergy where Deb is on the Faculty. Deb also teaches the Coaching Skills for Clergy graduate level course at Palmer Theological Seminary.
Mentor Coaching
If you are preparing to become an Associate Certified Coach or a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation you are required to have 12 hours of mentor coaching. Deb is a qualified mentor coach for both the International Coaching Federation and for Coaching4Clergy.
Transitional (Interim) Pastoring
When a church finds itself without a pastor for whatever reason, a transitional pastor is often hired to help fulfill the pastoral duties of the church and to help put together and guide a search committee as they prepare to call the church’s next settled pastor. Deb has been trained by the Interim Ministry Network and has been a transitional minister for United Church of Christ and American Baptist churches.
Workshops/Retreats
Deb has been leading weekend and one day retreats since 1985. Retreats can be based on the book she and her students are publishing on Women in the Bible, on various sections of the Old Testament: The Old Testament Pentateuch, The Old Testament Historical Books, or the Prophets, or on God’s Precious Children and Deb and her husband Gary’s work in Liberia West Africa.
Missionary Work
If you are looking for a speaker, a mission workshop leader, or a mission to get involved with, Gary and Deb Winters will gladly talk with you about God’s Precious Children their work in Liberia, West Africa. God’s Precious Children’s mission is to help children in need have a better chance at a brighter future through an education all in the name of Jesus. We help build schools, run teacher training workshops and help raise money for students’ tuitions. Check out our website: www.GodsPreciousChildren.com
